Joey Horn is an experienced professional specializing in business administration and management. She currently serves as the managing director at Oak Management, a company that manages investments, in Oslo, Norway.

Joey has extensive experience in the corporate, business and non-profit sectors. A world citizen, Joey is of Indian heritage, but grew up in Paris and New York City. She went on to marry a Norwegian citizen with whom she now has three children. As a result of her travels and life experiences, she is fluent in four languages: English, French, Norwegian and Hindi. Joey has made her home in several countries around the world including Singapore, Norway and the USA.

Joey Horn’s professional career began following her college education at Williams College, where she graduated in 1987. Her first job was at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Inc., an investment banking company in New York. Following her experience there, Joey decided to further her education, achieving an MBA from Yale University in 1991.

Since then, Joey has worked in a number of administrative capacities, sometimes serving in various kinds of directorships on corporate boards. Notable positions include being a director of financial planning at Saks Fifth Avenue, Vice President Investment Banking at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, a four-year stint as a partner at HQ Norden Securities, independent director at Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Ltd, non-executive director and member of the audit committee at Mermaid Maritime Public Company Ltd., and independent director at Asia Offshore Drilling Limited in Bermuda.

Since 2009, Joey has maintained a strong interest in serving in the non-profit sector. She began this interest as a trustee at Williams College and also served as a guest lecturer at Singapore Management University during her time in Singapore. Joey also served as advisory member of the contemporary arts council for the Asia Society in New York, and was a trustee at the American University of Paris.

In her free time, Joey enjoys collecting contemporary art, specifically art from India, China and Norway. To stay active, she enjoys a variety of sports including golf, tennis, hiking and being outdoors. She also takes time to volunteer at her alma mater, Williams College, where she has taken on several different roles including Associate Agent and has also served on several alumni committees. In addition to these many commitments, Joey serves as a charitable association to groups such as Right to Play, Harvard Business School, Choate Rosemary Hall and Mothers2Mothers.
